Brad here with a very exciting post to share!
A few weekends ago Stacey, Leo and I hit the road across PA to meet Lucy and Ben in NJ. Leo is starting to be much more aware of himself in the car now so instead of doing the whole drive at once we took the occasion to stop at Hershey on the way. We just had to go get milkshakes and take the ride with free chocolates after...
After staying at a hotel/ warehouse/ sporting center place we grabbed breakfast as a diner in downtown Lancaster, PA and drove the rest of the way to see the twins! They're both so cute, and couldn't be more proud of Aunt Alissa and Uncle Merle for how well they're doing with them! Also, we had to get a picture of the three of them together! Props to the new parents for trusting Leo to be between them for sure.
The next day was Lucy's naming and Ben's bris, as you can see it was exhausting for Leo, but thankfully he made a friend who was excellent for sleeping on:
After hanging out the rest of the day with the fam, Since Great Grandma Judy and Ed were already in the state, Uncle Rick drove them up so they could see the twins and Leo, and everyone had so much fun looking at each other!
On the way home we decided to stop in Lancaster to visit the Amish Farm & House which is right next to Target and they even have formal horse-and-buggy parking! We had a fun tour seeing how they live, and can picture what Leo would look like in the adorable Amish outfits! After doing a little shopping at the outlet shops we got dinner, and Leo enjoyed sucking on a tortilla chip!
We all had a great weekend seeing family and are excited to see everyone again soon!
