The Stamm Fam: Fall Activities and a Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

It's October, which means it's fall activities time! We've done a lot of fun things so far - apple picking, and about a million scooter rides. Now that people are raking their leaves to the side of the street, Gavi stops before a leaf pile and shouts "leaf crunching!!!!" and the kids ride through on their scooters until they get stuck and then just jump and prance.

We took one last cruise on the boat for the year:

Gavi is really developing her sense of style:

We're getting creative and doing things like giving cars and characters baths:

We went mini golfing for my birthday! Gavi refused to be in the picture but we had so much fun:

But she did take this picture earlier in the day when we had a girls date - picnic and play at the playground:

And now that October is here, it's pumpkin time!

Leo asked and asked when we could pick pumpkins and when we can carve them, and last weekend was the perfect time to go, so we hauled out to the farm and went pumpkin picking!

Leo did not want to sit for a picture, but I did get this gem of him, which I think is even better than his traditional "sitting on a pumpkin" picture:

And Gavi got into it too:

Leo quickly chose his pumpkin, but Gavi took her time. She wanted the perfect "my size" pumpkin and did not want anyone to suggest one for her. She she walked around and around, up and down all of the aisles until she found the perfect one.
